Iulia Hasdeu Castle
Iulia Hasdeu Castle, Prahova County, Muntenia, Romania is known as the "Temple of Spirit".
It was inaugurated on July 2, 1897, being opened to the public during Hasdeu's life. After his death, the heirs' attempts to determine the authorities to open a museum, thus fulfilling Hasdeu's will, failed.

After the First World War the museum was opened for free visit. He was hired as a specialist in 1932 and abandoned in 1947. He returned to the museum network in 1958, after an intervention in the Parliament of George Calinescu. The building is an architectural monument, built between 1894 - 1897 according to Hasdeu's plans, subsequently restored in 1962 - 1965, 1980 and after 1990.

The exhibition capitalizes documents on the history of culture related to the life and work of the great cartoonist: family photos, documents, manuscripts, furniture and personal belongings that belonged to Hasdeu and his daughter, Iulia (about 300 exhibits), an old book, paintings depicting them Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu and Iulia Hasdeu; the archive of Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu; his sketches for Iulia Hasdeu Castle; the first editions of the works of Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu (1838 - 1907) and of Iulia Hasdeu (1869 - 1888).

N. Grigorescu Memorial Museum
Nicolae Grigorescu is the first Romanian painter of European circulation, who lived between 1838-1907.

He started by doing religious painting: icons and mural painting in several churches and monasteries in Romania - the painting from the Agapia monastery, remaining a masterpiece of genius to this day.
