Sapanta Cemetery - is considered a true open-air museum. Located in the center of the commune, at the parish church, the museum comprises over eight monuments of folk art. Created in 1935, it became unique, thanks to the famous craftsman Ioan Stan Patras.

Starting with 1934, the master placed an epitaph on the graves' crosses, a short poem written first personally, slightly ironic, giving a new meaning to the dead. Each cross is a representation of the living color that tells the life of the deceased and even the cause of death. The creator of this cemetery had the humor of composing his own epitaph and carving and painting the cross that now marks his grave.

Currently, the crosses are made by the descendants of the master Ion Stan Patras. Over the past 70 years, over 800 painted crosses have been gathered in the cemetery.

Barsana Monastery - The first documentary attestations referring to Bārsana Monastery date back to 1390; In a document dated July 21, 1390, concerning the properties of the Dragos voivode family, a bifurcation road was mentioned, leading one arm in the village of Barsana and the other at the monastery. Also in this document are mentioned the Valley of the Monastery and Hill Popii.

In a document of property, on November 6, 1405, a "monastery camp" is mentioned. Other mentions about the monastery are found in the ownership documents of the Dragos voivodship family, between 1408-1480, the last act referring to Bartholomew Dragfi, Voievod of Transylvania.
