On 8 September 1933 the church was consecrated by Bishop Nectarios of Cernauti. In 1962, from atheists Panaci (instigated by the parish priest, who felt disturbed by this monastic) devastated hermitage, selling wood cells and outbuildings, and the church was dismantled and moved.
