Christmas 2025 at the Chariot Fortress

We invite you to spend the magic of the holidays in a fairytale setting, in the heart of Transylvania.

The Christmas package includes 4 days / 3 nights with half-board (breakfast and dinner) at the price of 1,365 lei /person, for accommodation in a double room.

For accommodation in a single room, a supplement of 50% of the displayed rate applies.


Breakfast

Served as a buffet, with a varied selection of dishes:

Three types of sausages
Three types of cheese
Fresh omelette
Homemade butter and jam
Milk, coffee, tea
Beef salad
Zacusca from our own production


Dinner

Every evening (except Christmas Day), you will be able to choose from three main course options, and at the end you will be pampered with a homemade cake, carefully prepared by our chefs.



Christmas Day at the Chariot Fortress

In Transylvania, Christmas has a special meaning, and at the Chariot Fortress, traditions are preserved with respect.

On December 25, instead of dinner, we invite you to a Festive Christmas Lunch (4:00 PM), which will bring together traditional delicacies and an authentic holiday atmosphere.

The festive lunch includes:

Traditional Ignat snack
Homemade sausage, lebár, yams, smoked pork belly, smoked cottage cheese, sheep's cheese and fresh vegetables.

Main course (of your choice):

Pork roast on a tray, with hunting sauce, gratinated potatoes and assorted pickles

Sarmale with smoked meat, sour cream, polenta and chili peppers


Alternative options will be available for those who do not consume pork.

Drinks included:

Wine (0.5 l/person ? white, red or rosé)

Aperitifs: cranberry for the ladies, plum brandy for the gentlemen


The atmosphere will be completed by traditional carols and the warmth of one of the largest fireplaces in the area.

Booking conditions

Advance payment of 50% of the total amount upon confirmation of the reservation.

Places are limited, reservations are confirmed in the order of requests.
