How to get Straja?

Straja tourist complex is situated in Hunedoara county, near the city Lupeni and at an altitude of 1400 m.

By car

At Lupeni can be reached by car from North East or from Tg Jiu via Deva / Sebes via Simeria-Petrosani.

Lupeni (Hunedoara county) is the starting point for anyone who wants to get in Straja. From here starts to lift Straja. It climbs 23 min up to 1390 m altitude

The machine can be reached from the DJ66A Lupeni.

Warning: If you arrive in winter, you should leave your car in the parking leaves arranged in lift.

By rail

If you choose to come by train, you can choose the destination railway station or railway station Lupeni Petrosani. We advise you to choose the North East railway station (located 20 km away from Otopeni) because trains are direct links to this station. From the North East railway station you can take a minibus to Lupeni, and from there a taxi to lift or until Straja.

We advise you to choose the taxi option, because it is more comfortable and more economical.
