Distance between Bucharest and Voineasa is 250 km, of which 212 on DN7 (E81) to 38 km Brezoi and here on Route 7A. Other routes are: Sibiu-Voineasa (100 km, of which 62 km on Route 7 (E81) to Brezoi and here 38 km on Route 7A), Petrosani-Voineasa (74 km; highest points of the route are Curmatura Vidrutei - Dry Pit Curmatura 1588 m - 1598 m) and Ramnicu Valcea-Voineasa (75 km of which 37 km on Route 7 (E81) to Brezoi and here on Route 7A, 38 km Brezoi - Voineasa).

The train is another alternative to reach Voineasa. The only route is made available by CFR Piatra Olt - Ramnicu Valcea - Sibiu by Lotru St., and from there to Voineasa are 40 km that you can travel by public transport vehicles (minibuses).
